Corinne Patrice Cox

Corinne Patrice Cox, 60, of Chapin, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. She was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey, on July 25, 1963, to James D. and Eleanor Cranmer Evergetis. Corinne was raised in New York and Columbia and was a proud graduate of Richland Northeast High School. She attended the University of South Carolina and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii. She was employed as a Senior Communications Director IT. Corinne is survived by her daughter, Jordan A. Miller (Luke); her sisters, Linda Heitman (Robert) and Melanie Delgaudio (Paul); her brothers, Mark Evergetis (Tammy) and Craig (Christy) Evergetis; and her grandchildren, Harper, Heidi, and Isabel Miller. She is also survived by the beloved family dogs, Romeo, Ellie, and Eli. Corinne was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Timothy Evergetis. A memorial service for Corinne will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Lake Murray Evangelical Church. The Rev. Patrick Hollohan will officiate. She always went out of her way to help and care for any family or friend. She was strong and independent and cherished by everyone who knew her. She will be missed dearly.
