Connie Jill Thomas

Connie “Jill” Thomas, 70, of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Born on May 19, 1952, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John Patrick Moran and Agatha Jane Gilmore Moran. Jill worked as a nurse at Agape Nursing Home until she retired. She was a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary. She enjoyed watching the CatholicTV and TV Land channels. She loved family vacations at Ocean Isle Beach and she loved Coca-Cola. Jill was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Dreher Thomas (Brandon) and her son, Chad Edward Thomas (Ashley), both of Irmo. Jill is also survived by her sisters, Patty Nugent of Beaver Falls, PA, and Carol McEvoy (John) of Columbia, SC; her brothers, Jerry Moran (Stephanie) of Grove City, PA; Mark Moran (Kathy) of Rochester, PA, and Tim Moran (Marlene) of Beaver, PA, and her granddaughter, Madison Thomas and her mother Sabrina. A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church (120 Marydale Lane, Columbia, SC 29210) on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Jill will be entombed in the church columbarium after the service.
