Cody David Moody

Cody David Moody, 24, of Pelion passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020.He was born in West Columbia to Anthony Brian Moody and Kimberly Ann Hayn Moody. Cody was a graduate of Pelion High School, Class of 2013.During his years he played football, baseball and was on the wrestling team.Cody was also in the Navy ROTC for 4 years.Cody was a Clemson Fan and an avid gamer.He loved all sports.Cody worked for Sea Hunt Boats, Inc., as a shipwright for 5 years. Surviving in addition to his parents, Anthony B. and Kimberly Ann Moody of Pelion; his four-legged “son”, Petey; sisters, Judy and Brittany Moody; brothers, Jackson, Brian (Courtney) and Kyle (Kayla) Moody; Paternal grandmother, Nita Moody and Maternal grandparents, Earl and Brenda Hayn; numerous aunts, uncles, 2 nephews, a niece and a great number of cousins. A private graveside service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2020 in Southland Memorial Gardens.A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
