Clarice Mcginnis Lathem

Columbia—Clarice McGinnis Lathem, 73, died January 15, 2021, with her family by her side in Columbia.A private family service will be held at Cryptside in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. She was born on June 15, 1947, in Atlanta to the late Roy and Jeanette McGinnis.Clarice graduated from University High School and the University of South Carolina, both in Columbia.She retired from Columbia College where she worked as an Administrative Assistant.Clarice attended Saint Martin’s in the Fields Episcopal Church. Mrs. Lathem is survived by her two brothers and their spouses, Roy and Pat McGinnis and Keith and Robin McGinnis; son, Paul Huffman; a granddaughter and a great-grandson.She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Frank Lathem of 12 years.
