LEXINGTON—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, May 30, 2015 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 2229 Hampton Street, Columbia, SC 29204 for Chinh Van Ha, 78, of Lexington.David Q. Phan, OFM will officiate. The family will greet friends from 12 noon-2:00 p.m. and from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Mr. Ha passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Lexington Medical Center.Born in Hai-Duong, Vietman, he was the son of the late Lich Van Ha and Teo Thi Ha.He came to the United States in December 1981 and worked in Savannah, GA until he retired in 1999, where he worked for the City of Savannah. Surviving are his son, David Ha and his wife, Anhthao of Lexington, SC; daughter, Nguyet Thi Suong Ha of Vietman; mother of his adult children, Dieu Thi Vu of Vietman; sister, Huong Thi Ha of Vietman; grandson, Jonathan Ha and granddaughter, Madison Ha both of Lexington, SC; as well as a number of nieces and nephews in Vietnam.He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
