White Rock-Charles David Edenfield, 74, of White Rock, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018.Born in Augusta, Georgia, on June 13, 1943, Charles was married to his devoted wife, Margie J. Edenfield for fifty-six years.Mr. Edenfield was the proud owner and operator of Edenfield Heating & Air since 1975.Woodworking, fishing and traveling were just some of Charles’ favorite hobbies. Mr. Edenfield was also a member of White Rock Baptist Church in Chapin, S.C.He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, Papa, brother, and friend. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, James C. Edenfield and Geneva Smith Edenfield.He is survived by his wife, Margie of White Rock, SC; daughter, Candy Cruse of White Rock, SC: sons, David Y. Edenfield (Robin), Steve W. Edenfield, and Alex C. Edenfield all of White Rock, SC; sister, Elsie Ivey of Augusta, GA; brothers, Jimmy Edenfield (Jean), Billy Edenfield (Julie), and Chris Edenfield (Donna) all of Augusta, GA; seven grand children and seven great-grandchildren. Services for Charles David Edenfield will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road Columbia, SC 29212 with entombment to follow in the Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.The Rev. Glenn Day of White Rock Baptist Church will serve as officiant.Family will receive friends on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Temples Halloran Funeral Home.
