Catherine M. Bennett

The funeral service for Catherine Miriam Bennett will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following the service in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Dr. Bill Haselden will officiate. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Catherine was the daughter of Franklin (Frank) Moody Bennett, Jr. and Linda Baker Bennett. She was born in Columbia on July 24, 1974. She was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church. Catherine was a 1992 graduate of Irmo High School. Following high school, she attended Midlands Technical College for 2 years studying early childhood development. Catherine loved the Lord, her family, and children. This is evidenced in her volunteer service at Lexington Medical Center, Children’s Garden, and Volunteers of America. She and her mother taught Sunday School at Riverland Hills Baptist Church for 25 years. Catherine is survived by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Renee Bennett Willis and Adam Willis, along with cousins and aunts and uncles.
