IRMO—Carol Lusk Lucas, 73, of Irmo, S.C. went to be with her Lord in the early hours of September 24th.She was born in Eighty Four, Pennsylvania, daughter of Howard and Helen Lusk.Carol was a graduate of Monongahela High School.Married to her husband John Lucas for 52 years. Carol was a wife of noble character, exuding the Proverbs 31 woman.Her selfless approach and servants heart had a profound affect on her family, friends, work and neighborhood communities.Everyone Carol came in contact with was blessed by her compassion and unconditional love. Carol is survived by her husband John, daughters Michelle (Rodger) Lucas Weyant of Atlanta and Suzanne (Steve) Lucas Nash of Chapin.Grandchildren Austin Weyant, Cooper Weyant, Parker Weyant, Samantha Nash, and Lucas Nash.Also her brother Bill Lusk and family of 84, Pennsylvania. The memorial services for Carol will be held Tuesday, September 27th at 2:00 p.m. Union United Methodist Church in Irmo, 7582 Woodrow Street, Irmo, SC 29063. Temples Halloran Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to her brother Bills Lusk’s church: Nottingham Christian Church, 1028 Linden Rd., Eighty Four, PA 15330.
