Billy J. Steadman, Sr.

Billy J. Steadman, Sr., passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023. He was born on January 3, 1963, and was the son of the late Thomas Bryson Steadman, Jr. and Vinnie Marie Price Steadman. Billy was employed in maintenance in the restaurant business. He enjoyed shooting pool. He was also an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and guns. Billy loved talking and giving advice. Rest assured, a conversation with Billy was never short. Billy was a loving husband to his wife of 18 years, Marlee Buck Steadman, who predeceased him. He was a loving father to his children, Billy Steadman, Jr. and April Steadman, both of West Virginia; Jeremy Price of West Columbia; and Will Cornell and Christopher Cornell, both of Irmo. Billy is also survived by his sisters, Debbie Sloan of Lexington; Terry Covell of West Columbia; and Jessica Steadman also of West Columbia. His brothers, Thomas B. Steadman, III, of Lexington, and David Steadman of Lexington, survive Billy as well. In addition to his parents and wife, Billy is predeceased by his sister, Wanda Chavis. No services are planned.
