LEXINGTON—A memorial service for Bill Dodson, 82, of Lexington will be held at 12 noon, Friday, January 15, 2016 at St. Andrews Baptist Church, 230 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29210.Reverend Dr. Ronald “Dee” Vaughan will be officiating.The family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. – 12 noon prior to the service at the church.Temples Halloran Funeral Home is assisting the family. Bill, beloved husband of Betty Clark Dodson, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.Born in Laurens, CO, he was the son of the late Ralph Carlton Dodson and Laura Burton Dodson.He served in the United States Army as a MP during the Korean War and also served as a Chaplain at Atlanta General Depot. He was a Clemson University graduate and an active member and an usher at St. Andrews Baptist Church since 1963. Bill was Executive Vice President at Piedmont Print Makers. Survived by his loving wife, Betty Dodson; children, Dianne Bundrick (Eddie), Jimmy Dodson (Kathy), Sandra D. Williams and Laurie Hopka (Allen); seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
