Bertha Martinez Mcrorie

Bertha Martinez McRorie, 84, a longtime resident of Cherryville, N.C. and Columbia, S.C., entered into eternal life on Wednesday, September 2, 2021.She was born on June 27, 1937 in Torreon, Mexico to the late Heraclio De la Torre and Maria Martinez-Talavera. Bertha was a homemaker and provided unending love and care for her family.She was kind and devoted to all her friends and family.Bertha will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. McRorie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Mr. Richard C. McRorie.Bertha is survived by her daughter, Marie M. Howard (Rodney), Donna Hunt (Larry), Morgan Vickers (Matt); and sons, Richard C. McRorie, Jr., and Tim McRorie (Leslie).She had nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The service for Bertha was a private celebration of life at the home of Marie M.
