Beatrice "Bea" K. Haney

COLUMBIA—A memorial service for Beatrice “Bea” K. Haney, 90, of Columbia, will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 12 noon in the Chapel of Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 with the Reverend Scott W. Smoak officiating.The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. – 12 noon prior to the service at the funeral home.A private inurnment will take place at a later date. Bea was born in Greenville, SC on August 9, 1926 and was daughter of the late John K. Keller and Florrie Sudduth Keller.She was a longtime member of Virginia Wingard United Methodist Church where she participated in the quilting and homemakers clubs.Bea was employed by Belk Department Store, C W Haynes Mortgage Company and later retired from Siebels Bruce Insurance Co. Surviving are her daughters, Patricia Haney of Columbia and Deborah H. Stephens (David) of Irmo; sister, Louise K. Parker (Dean); brothers, James Langford Johnson and Joe Bernard Keller (Diane); grandchildren, Andrew and Michael Henry; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Those who preceded Bea besides her parents, was her late husband, Willard; brothers, James Smiley Keller and Otis David Johnson along with one sister, Hazel K. Day.
