Anthony (Tony) Adams of Lexington, S.C. passed away on February 18, 2018 at the age of 62.Tony was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on February 14, 1956.He was son of the late Ralph and Elaine Adams.Tony loved to hunt and fish and was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan.He also played the guitar in a country band for several years. Tony worked for U-Haul while living in Johnstown as well as Baltimore, Maryland.He moved to South Carolina in 1993 and was employed by Golden State Foods.Tony also had a decking and concrete business. He was last employed with Michelin Tire Company.Tony was an ambassador for the Eye Care Center and was most recently a spokesperson and patient ambassador for Snow Companies where he supported individuals living with Macular Degeneration. Tony is survived by his sister, Renee Adams Hipp (Mark) of Irmo, S.C.Nephews, Mark Jr., Andrew, and Adam Hipp, and step children, Michael Steed (Olivia), of Lexington, S.C., Jamie Hendrix (Dennis) of Lexington, S.C., as well as step grandchildren, Elizabeth, Matthew, and Rachel Callie.He was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Bloodworth Adams.The family will have a private service to celebrate Tony’s life.Tony will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
