Lexington—A Mass of Catholic Burial for Anna Coracy, 88, of Lexington, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, 120 Marydale Lane, Columbia, SC 29210, Father John Murray will be officiating.The Rosary will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by visitation from 9:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary.Inurnment will occur at a later time in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Mrs. Coracy passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015.Born in Selkirk, Scotland, Anna was the daughter of the late William Roden and Jean Reilly Roden.She and her husband, William were active members of Our Lady of Hills Catholic Church for over 14 years.Anna was co-owner of B & A Travel Service that was established over 50 years ago in Carbondale, Illinois and is still in business today. Anna and William traveled extensively throughout the world during their years in business. Surviving are her loving husband of 62 years, William Coracy of Columbia, SC; daughter, Kathleen Carlock of Irmo; sons, David Coracy (Helen) of Carbondale, Il, William Coracy (LuAnne) of Chapin, SC, Michael Coracy (Laura) of Collinsville, IL and Scott Coracy of Waxhaw, NC; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Those who preceded her in death are her son-in-law, Richard Carlock and daughter-in-law, Andree Coracy. Anna requests bright colors be worn by family and friends on the day of her funeral service.
