COLUMBIA—Ann Hanna, 73, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Lowman Home in Chapin. She was born in Richland County on September 26, 1943, the daughter of Martha B. Vaughn Dreher and the late Floyd F. Vaughn, Sr. Gifted with an engaging sense of humor and a giving heart, Ann is lovingly remembered by family and the many friends she made.In addition to family, her primary interests were Bible study, helping others, ceramics and creating handmade crafts.She was also an avid Carolina Gamecock fan. Ann is survived by her children, Chuck Hanna and wife, Alicia and Dwayne Hanna; grandchildren, Nicholas Hanna and Jessie Hanna; mother, Martha Dreher; sisters, Beverly McAlister and Cheryl Vaughn; brothers, Floyd Finley Vaughn, Jr. and Gerald Vaughn. A funeral service to honor Ann’s life will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Life Chapel, 2101 Dutch Fork Road, Chapin, SC 29177, with the Reverend Karen Young, The Heritage Chaplain, officiating.Visitation with the family will precede the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Ave., Columbia, SC 29201.Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 is assisting the family.
